For the Cupcake
  1. 1 box of Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil's Food Devil's Food Cake Mix
  2. 1 cup of butter milk [ instead of water ]
  3. 1 cup of melted butter [ 2x the amount of oil ]
  4. 4 eggs [ 1 more than box recommends ]
For the Marshmallow Frosting
  1. 1 cup softened Butter
  2. 1 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  3. 7 oz Jet Puffed Marshmallow Creme
  4. 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  5. Chocolate Chips or Gray/Black round cake decorations
To make the cupcakes
  1. Put the paper liners in a muffin pan
  2. Preheat the oven to 350
  3. Line the muffin cups with paper liners
  4. Put the cake mix in your mixing bowl
  5. Add in the buttermilk, vegetable, oil, and eggs
  6. Beat until moistened – about 30 seconds
  7. Increase the speed to high and beat until thick – about another 2 mins
  8. Spoon the mix into the liners filling the cups about 2/3 of the way to the top.
  9. Bake for 15-20 mins – until a toothpick poked into the cupcake centers comes out clean.
  10. Remove the cupcakes from the baking plans and allow to cool completely before frosting.
To make the frosting
  1. Cream butter and vanilla with a mixer until fluffy.
  2. Gradually add in powdered sugar until incorporated.
  3. Fold in marshmallow creme.
  4. Transfer to piping bag with a round tip.
  5. Frost each cupcake and make eyes with mini chocolate chips and mouths with chocolate chips or use cake decorations.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
