What you need
- 1/2 cup of Coconut Aminos
- 1 ripe pear, peeled, halved, cored and grated
- 3 scallions
- 3 1/2 tablespoons of coconut sugar
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 lb skirt steak
- 1 heard of Bibb lettuce, leaves separated
What you do
- In a large bowl, whisk coconut aminos, pear, scallions, coconut sugar, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds and pepper together
- Set aside 1/4 cup of the marinated
- Cut steak crosswise into 3 or 4 sections and add to the marinate bowl
- Allow to sit for 15 mins
- Grill the steak of ver medium hot fire to desired doneness (about 4-6 mins per side for med. rare)
- Transfer steak to cutting board and tent with foil.
- Allow to sit for 5 mins
- Slice steak think against the grain
- Transfer to a platter and drizzle with the reserved marinated
- Sever with lettuce leaves for wrapping.
