Note
For foundation chain, chain a multiples of 10 ch + 2 ch.

Foundation Row

  1. With Color A Ch intended width
  2. Turn

Row 1 – Color A

  1. 1 sc in 1st st from hook
  2. 1 sc in next st
  3. 1 hdc in next st
  4. 1 dc in each of next 5 st
  5. 1 hdc in next st
  6. 1 sc in each of next 3 st
  7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to the end of the row
  8. Turn

Row 2 – Color A

  1. Repeat Row 3 until the last st
  2. Do not finish the last st of the row. Leave 2 loops on hook.
  3. Make a loose loop with the next color B.
  4. Put the loop over the hook and pull through the 2 loops on the hook. Carry on with the new yarn with your next stitch.
  5. Turn

Row 3 – Color B, second wave

  1. Ch 2 times (this counts as 1 dc )
  2. Skip the first stitch 1 dc in each of the next 2 st
  3. 1 hdc in next st
  4. 1 sc in each of next 3 st
  5. 1 hdc in next st
  6. 1 dc in each of next 5 st
  7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to the end of the row
  8. Turn

Row 4 – Color B

  1. Repeat Row 3 until the last st
  2. Do not finish the last st of the row. Leave 2 loops on hook.
