What you need
- For the marinate
- Skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- heavy splash of worcestershire sauce
- heavy splash of honey or good maple syrup
- about 10 crushed cloves of garlic
- about 1/4 of a sliced onion
- For the rub
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- paprika
- parsley
What you do
- Prehea the oven at 375f
- Mix the marinate ingredients in a bowl with a whisk
- Put the chicken breasts in the marinade of 24 to 48 hours
- Remove from fridge and marinade & make sure you clean any remnants of marinade from the chicken
- Season both sides of chix and let sit for 1/2 hr at rm temp
- Preheat a black iron skillet coated with about a Tablespoonb of olive oil – make sure the olive oil is evenly applied
- Sear the chix on both sides ( 2mins 1st side/ barely a minute the 2nd side)
- Pop the pan into a the oven (375) for about 2 minutes
- Drop the oven temp to 280/300 and give it about 10 to 15 mins – this can vary based on size of breasts
- Pull from oven & let sit for 5mins and slice
