What you need
- 34 Fresh Mushrooms
- 1/2 cup margarine, divided
- 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
- 3 crab cakes (Phillips if possible)
- 1 container of crab meat (lump again Phillips if possible
- 1/3 cup grated parmigiana cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoon minced parley
- 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
What you do
- Throughly wipe the mushrooms clean of all dirt with a paper towel (do not wash in water)
- Remove the mushroom stems and mince them
- Preheat the broiler
- In a skillet melt the 1/4 cup of margarine on low heat
- Add onion and stems and sautΓ© until tender
- Add the remaining ingredients and cook until well blended
- Stuff the caps with the mixture
- Drizzle with butter
