What you need
  1. 3/4 cup of butter, softened
  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 2 egg yolks
  4. 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  5. 1 cup of all purpose flour
  6. 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  7. 4 tablespoons of malted milk powder (Ovaltine)
Chocolate Malted-Milk Frosting
  1. 1 cup milk chocolate pieces
  2. 1/2 cup whipping cream
  3. 1 tablespoon of malted milk powder (Ovaltine)
  4. 15 Whopper malted milk balls, cut in half
What you do
  1. In a large bowl beat butter on medium to high speed for 30 seconds
  2. Cream in the sugar scraping the bowl occasionally.
  3. Add in egg yolks, and vanilla until combined
  4. Add the flour, coca and ovaltine
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour
  6. Preheat the oven to 375
  7. Line the cookie-sheets with parchment paper
  8. Shape the dough into 1 inch balls
  9. Using your thumb make an indentation in each ball
  10. Bake for 8 minuets until the bottoms are lightly brown
  11. While still warm, re-press the indented centers with a teaspoon
  12. Cool completely
Chocolate Malted-Milk Frosting
  1. In a microwave safe bowl combine the milk chocolate pieces and cream
  2. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 min.
  3. Whisk until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth
  4. Stir in the malted milk powder
  5. Cover and chill for 30 mins, stirring every 10 mins.
  6. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until frosting is fluffy, being careful not to over beat
  7. Using a small spoon or pastry bag, pike the frosting into the depression in the cookie
  8. Place 1/2 a malt ball in the frosting.
