- Using a J 6.00 MM crochet hook Ch 202 of Color A
- Turn.
Row 1
- In the second stitch from the hook Dc
- 1 Dc in each stitch to the end of the foundation chain
- Turn
Row 2
- Ch 3
- skip first st
- FPdc around the post of each of next 4 st
- BPdc around the post of each of next 4 st
- repeat 4 FPdc and 4 BPdc to the end of the row
- Turn
Row 3
- Repeat Row 2
Row 4
- Ch 3
- skip first st
- BPdc around the post of each of next 4 st
- FPdc around the post of each of next 4 st
- repeat 4 BPdc and 4 FPdc to the end of the row
- Turn
Row 5
- Repeat Row 4
Row 6 onward
- Repeat Rows 2 – 5 until blanket is desired size

- Change to Color B

- In the second from the hook 1 hdc 1st side of the blanket
- Ch 1
- Rotate blanket 45 degrees
- 1 hdc] 2nd side of the blanket
- Ch 1
- Rotate blanket 45 degrees
- 1 hdc 3rd side of the blanket
- Ch 1
- Rotate blanket 45 degrees
- 1 hdc 3rd side of the blanket
Edge Row 3 – 6
- Repeat Edge row 3 until you have 5 rows of hdc edging
- Fasten off
