Description
The spicey kick with the balsamic twang gives this meal full of flavor with very few calories.
Ingredients

- 1lb lean ground turkey
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped or diced
- 1–24oz jar Trader Giotto’s Rustico Pasta Sauce (or similar low sugar, under 50 calories per serving sauce)
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1–2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 cup diced white mushrooms
- 1 14.5oz can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- Zoodles
Instructions
- Sauté the onion in the olive oil 2-3min.
- Add ground turkey.
- As turkey browns, add oregano, pepper flakes, garlic, and balsamic.
- In a separate saucepan, heat the marinara sauce, then add mushrooms and diced tomatoes.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked.
- Combine both pans into one and let simmer 5-10 min on low heat.
- Serve over zoodles
