What you need
  1. 2 small containers of fresh sliced mushrooms
  2. 2 boxes frozen artichoke hearts
  3. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  4. 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  5. 1 stick butter
  6. 1/4 cup olive oil
  7. 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  8. fresh ground pepper (to taste)
What you do
  1. Let artichokes defrost a bit until you can cut the hearts into 1/4 inch slices and then continue to thaw
  2. Melt butter and oil in pan and add garlic and simmer for a bit add mushrooms and cook until a bit soft
  3. Mix cheese and breadcrumbs together (you really can more if you wish as long as you use equal parts of each)
  4. In a flattish casserole dish, mix artichokes, mushrooms (including the pan drippings) and mix in the cheese/breadcrumb mixture and combine
  5. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 … stir after about 20 minutes
  6. At this point, you can sprinkle some cheese on top (if you wish)
